Over the last two decades, Lee Sanders has cemented his reputation as a creative force in music by aiding and abetting filmmakers in Hollywood and around the world. His intense, immediate style is a unique blend of orchestral, electronic and world music.
Lee has won eight BMI Film & Television Awards for his work. His credits span dozens of television shows, films, video games and works for online media and theatre—among them the multiple Emmy® Award-winning series The Amazing Race (US and international versions); the current Sony Pictures Home Entertainment logo theme; the recent feature films No Blood of Mine, Old Stone, and Better than Love; and the children's web series Storyline Online for SAG-AFTRA Foundation.
As a conductor, orchestrator and additional composer, Lee has also contributed to shows such as Family Guy, Charmed, The Fairly Oddparents, and Disney’s House of Mouse.
Outside the studio, Lee has served as instructor at the UCLA Extension Film Scoring Program and at Occidental College. He has also lectured at educational institutions across the country, including the USC School of Cinema-Television, Loyola Marymount University, and the State University of New York at Fredonia.
He holds memberships in the Television Academy and the Society of Composers & Lyricists, and has contributed his talents to philanthropic projects on behalf of charities such as Children's Hospital Los Angeles, LA Regional Food Bank, and Autism Speaks.
